This policy explains what personal information ZeinHomes collects through this website and when you book or attend a consultation, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. For a shorter summary, see Privacy and Data Practices.

Information we collect

When you schedule a consultation

• Your service address (street, city, state and ZIP code).
• The products you are interested in, your property type, whether you own or rent, which smart-home ecosystems you use, and any details you choose to add.
• Your name, email address and phone number, and your preferred contact method.
• The consultation you book: type (at your home or by video), date and time.
• Whether you agreed to receive marketing email, the wording you were shown, and when.
• Where you came from (for example a referring website or campaign tag), to understand which channels work.

Nothing you type in the scheduling form is stored until you submit the final step. If your address is outside our service area and you join the waitlist or ask for a manual review, we store your name, email, phone (if given), address and product interests.

When you contact support

Your name, email, phone number (if given) and the message you send.

Automatically

• Your IP address and browser details, used for security, rate limiting and bot protection.

What we never collect

We do not collect or keep lock codes, device or account passwords, Wi-Fi passwords, recovery codes for your devices, camera footage or payment card details. Your devices are registered to your own accounts.

How we use it

• To check whether we serve your address and to offer consultation times.
• To book, confirm, remind you about, reschedule or cancel your consultation. These appointment emails are part of the service you asked for and are sent whether or not you agree to marketing.
• To prepare for and carry out your consultation and any work you approve.
• To tell you when we start serving your area, if you joined the waitlist.
• To send marketing email, only if you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand demand by product, area and ecosystem, and to improve our service.
• To protect the site and our systems from abuse.

We do not send text messages.

Who we share it with

• Service providers. Consultations are carried out by service providers working with ZeinHomes, who may be independent contractors. A provider sees your name, contact details, property address, product interests and ecosystems only for consultations assigned to them.
• Google Maps Platform. Your address is sent to Google to find it on the map, to measure driving distance from our providers, and to work out its timezone. Google’s use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Brevo, which delivers our emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person and not a bot.
• Our hosting provider, which runs the servers this site and our records are stored on.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

• Customer and lead records: 3 years after the last activity on them.
• Waitlist entries: 2 years.
• Security and audit logs: 2 years.
• Records of marketing consent: kept as long as needed to show what you agreed to, including after you unsubscribe.
• Map coordinates and driving distances from Google: no more than 30 days.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time with the link in any marketing email.
• Ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by contacting us below. Some information may need to be kept where the law requires it.
• Depending on your state, you may have additional rights. We will honour them.

Security

Our staff and providers sign in with individual accounts protected by a password and a second factor. Access is limited by role, and changes are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

This site is for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
